TEXARKANA, Ark. – Authorities are on the hunt for 37-year old Charles Hausner who ran from a work crew in Texarkana Monday morning, Dec. 9.

According to reports, around 8:45 a.m., Hausner was part of a crew working in a city park, which is commonly known as Hobo Park.

THV11 reported, Hausner was last seen running down the tracks with officials stating his actions appeared to be spur-of-the-moment and not part of a well-thought-out plan.

Hausner was serving time on a drug conviction. He is described as a caucasian male, 5’8″ and 170lbs.  He has brown eyes and closely-cropped brown hair. He was last seen wearing a yellow inmate uniform.

He is serving a three-year sentance at Southwest Arkansas Community Correction Center. The ADC says offenders at the Southwest Arkansas Community Correction Center are classified as non-violent and are not registered sex offenders.

If you see Hausner, please call law enforcement to report the sighting.
