The Red River Valley Fair is filled with tradition and an abundance of attractions for the whole family including livestock, music, food, and carnival rides.
Despite rumors there would not be carnival rides this year, organizers confirmed that was not the case and rumor began because the Red River County Fair won’t be having carnival rides this year.
Held Sept. 25 through Sept. 28 at the Paris-Lamar County Fairgrounds, daily attractions include cirque adventures, AMP amusements, commercial exhibits, Westland Ranch Petting Zoo, KornPop, community exhibits, food concessions, livestock shows, pumpkin patch, home and garden showcase, creative arts and crafts showcase and more.

Gates open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. and close at 10 p.m. and on Saturday gates open at 11 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.
General admission is $5 and kids 6 & under are FREE. Parking fee of $1 per car will be charged with the proceeds benefitting Girls Softball of Paris.
Arm bands for carnival rides are $25 on Wednesday and Thursday and $35 on Friday. On Saturday they are $25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and $35 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
