Popeyes is jumping on board a recent meal trend on TikTok by launching its own version of the “girl dinner.”
The phrase “girl dinner” was coined by Olivia Maher, who posted a video on TikTok discussing how much she enjoys the simple pleasure of a meal of just lights snacks. Showing a slice of bread, butter, a few grapes, cheese and wine, she said, “I call it girl dinner, or medieval peasant.”
Offering their own take on the trend, Popeyes “Girl Dinner” consist of a variety of individually ordered sides.

Popeyes says the “Girl Dinner” menu is designed “to offer guests options packed with robust Cajun flavors that are made with the same slow, time-honored, homemade traditions of Southern cooking that the brand started in 1972.”
