Paris police stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of Lamar Ave at 1:41 a.m. on July 9, for running a red light. During the investigation, K9 Cupa alerted to the officers that narcotics were in the vehicle. The driver, identified as 36-year old Staci Lynn Brocaille of Paris, admitted to having methamphetamine in her purse. Officers were able to locate the narcotics and she was taken into custody. Brocaille was arrested and later placed in the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police responded to 85 calls for service and arrested four people on July 8, 2020.
