The Paris Junior College-Greenville Center English as a Second Language class took their study of Memorial Day on the road, visiting the downtown Memorial Day display of the City of Greenville, Texas.
While there, they took a photo holding a large American flag. Students from Nepal, Vietnam, Ivory Coast, Colombia, Cuba, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, China, Peru and the United States wore red, white, and blue and waved flags to show their patriotism.
“They were very proud,” said Amy Corrales, ESL instructor at the PJC-Greenville Center, “and proud to be in the United States.”
