The legendary Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, held January 18th through February 9th, draws not only fans from far and wide but contestants also including many from Lamar County
At the conclusion of the event, Michayla Hawkes, a senior at Paris High School, walked away with a slew of first place awards.
Hawkes not only won first place in the Palomino Youth Class but also the Youth Halter and Youth Color classes.
Her Paris High School Ag teachers are Steve Tucker and Sydney Hines.
