PHS future educators bring home multiple awards from state competition

Students from Paris High School brought home several state awards from the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) Teach Tomorrow Summit, held Feb. 28-March 2 at The Delta Hotel and Watters Creek Convention Center in Allen, TX.

Hope Cox and Esmeralda Aguinaga received a blue ribbon in secondary bulletin board and Quay Porter and Robert Parker received a red ribbon in elementary bulletin board. Akia Edwards and Amagane Hamilton received a blue ribbon in project visualize teaching. Hannah Pardee and Skylar Frazier received a blue ribbon in project visualize fundraising. Destiny Millard and Robert Parker received a blue ribbon in project visualize service. Hope Dixon and Tamia McKinney received a blue ribbon in project visualize appreciation. Kenya Young and Cassie Zuniga received a blue ribbon in project visualize recreation. Hope Cox and Skylar Frazier received a red ribbon in chapter yearbook.

Destiny Millard received a bronze certificate and Austin Whitaker received a silver certificate for their performance on the Educational Leadership Fundamentals (ELF) Test. 

Hope Cox was elected as Historian of Texas Association of Future Educators.
