Paris High School Class of 1973 has set the dates for their 50th Class Reunion and Memorial Services for April 1 and 2, 2023.
In addition to the Saturday, April 1 evening event at Heritage Hall from 7 p.m.-11 p.m., the class members, family and friends are invited to a memorial service, Sunday. April 2, at 11 a.m. at DeShong Chapel on the campus of Paris Junior College to remember those classmates who have passed away over the last 50 years.
Cost for the event is $80 per couple or $45 single and will feature a full meal catered by Crawford’s Hole in the Wall Restaurant. Dessert will be Crawford’s signature ‘bread pudding’. The restaurant is owned and operated by Drew and Angela Crawford, son and daughter-in-law of one of the Class of 1973 sponsors, Coach Johnny Crawford, always a favorite among students.

Deadline for reservations is Saturday, March 17. If anyone is unable to attend but would like to support the weekend’s event, you may make a donation to: 1973 Class Reunion, 2501 Simpson Street, Paris, TX 75460. All former PHS faculty members who taught at PHS between Fall 1970-May 1973 are also invited to join in the celebrations.

During the Sunday memorial, each deceased class member will be remembered during the service. Dr. Pat Ford will give the message with special music planned by Mark and Debbie Moseley. The memorial display is being coordinated by Carolyn Bridges Lockett. All PHS alumni and friends with connections to the Class of 1973 are invited to join in the memorial service.
Out of the 289 original members of the class, a known fifty classmates have passed away. In addition, the Reunion Committee continues to try and locate the following classmates who they have lost contact with over time. If you have any information that would assist the Committee—emails, mailing addresses, phone numbers, other family members, please email the committee and they will do the follow-up in hopes of re-connecting.
