The community will have a chance to bring their children to have a photo taken with two, live Christmas llamas this Saturday from 12-2 p.m. presented by David House Jewelry, 4207 Lamar Ave.
The idea to have photos with Christmas llamas was attributed to Andee, the store manager.
David House, the store owner, said the reason they wanted to feature llamas because they couldn’t do Santa, “and kids love animals. We’re doing it for the kids.”
As this is the first time for a picture-taking event with the Christmas llamas, House hopes for the Christmas party to become an annual event.
During the Christmas party, families will have a chance to take a free photo with two live Christmas llamas.
There will also be a hot chocolate bar with all the fixings.
Llamas will be on-hand from 12-2 p.m., and David House Jewelry will be open from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
