Peggie Elaine Anderson was born May 23, 1947 to parents, Billie and Viola (Davis) Grant in Paris, Texas. She passed away in Dallas on April 26, 2026. Peggie was 78 years old.
Peggie attended Paris High School but spent most of her time in Blossom with her cousin and best friend, Sharon Burnett(Wright). Most people assumed they were sisters.
She married Don Anderson on January 27, 1979, and the couple remained married until her passing.
Peggie loved the Lord and her family, especially her granddaughter, Kaylee. She was a member of the Blossom Fellowship Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Don Anderson; daughter, Tera Nichols and husband, Robby; granddaughter, Kaylee; cousin, Sharon Wright and her children, Amy and Dakota Wright as well as Sharon’s grandchildren, Cole Wright and wife, Abbie; cousins, Dixie Monroe and husband, Willis and family, David Grant and his family and Clark Grant and wife, Stefani and their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tommie Grant, son-in-law, Justin Sinesh, and cousin, Mike Wright.
Visitation will be held at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom, Texas on Thursday, April 30th at 1:30 PM. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 P.M.
