Monday, September 9; Officers received a report of a Burglary of a Residence in the 500 block of SE 6th St. The reporting person advised that they had left the residence on September 6 and everything was in good order. When they returned on Monday the 9th , they found that the back door to the residence had been broken in and numerous items including television sets, gaming console and controls, and liquor had been stolen. The investigation will proceed.
Monday, September 9; Paris Police Officers recovered a stolen vehicle out of University Park Texas in the 300 block of Stone Avenue. Officers were notified of the vehicle possibly being at that location by University Park Police Department. Officers responded to the scene and located the 2016 Kia on a parking lot of an apartment complex at that location. The vehicle was towed to a storage facility. University Park Police Department will be continuing the investigation.
Officers made 9 traffic stops, no adult arrest, and answered 92 calls for service for this reporting period.
