Monday, September 23, 2024; Dylan Laine Childress (30) was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance after officers responded to a call of a reckless driver in the 5000 block of Lamar Avenue. Officers located Childress in the 2600 block of Lamar Avenue. Officers smelled marijuana and alcoholic beverages in Childress’ vehicle and a subsequent search located methamphetamine in the vehicle. Childress was arrested without incident.
