Friday, October 11, 2024; Paris police received a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of NE 28th St. They arrived and met with Adrianne Jade Braxton (25) who was found to be under the influence of narcotics. Witnesses confirmed that Braxton had recently been using illegal narcotics. Braxton was found to be in possession of several separate quantities of what was later identified as methamphetamine. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and booked without incident.
Friday, October 11, 2024; Officers responded to the 1300 block of Clarksville St where they arrested Corey Antonio Robinson (31) for Burglary of Building. Robinson had been warned to stay off the property previously by store management and so did not have permission to enter the property. He was caught while stealing several items totaling under 100.00. Robinson was arrested, booked, and placed in jail.
Saturday, October 12, 2024; A report of a suspicious person led officers to contact Melissa Renee Smith (37) in the 1300 block of E. Houston. Smith was located in her vehicle which contained numerous items associated with the use of illegal narcotics. The vehicle was searched and methamphetamine was located in the driver seat. Smith was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and processed without issue.
Saturday, October 12, 2024; A report of a Burglary of Habitation was received from an address in the 400 block of W. Provine. Victim’s residence was entered by an unknown person who stole medications and rummaged through the victim’s other property. Investigation is ongoing.
Officers made 26 traffic stops, 11 adult arrest, and answered 298 calls for service for this reporting period.
