On Oct. 12, 2023, around 11:55 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of SW 3rd in regards to a disturbance. They received information that Kendall Price Korpus had entered a room where the victim was sleeping and threatened to kill her. Korpus had then allegedy attempted to gain access to a firearm but was unsuccessful. Korpus was contacted in the residence, but would not cooperate with the officers, refusing to answer any questions other than saying he lived there and that he was reading his mail. He was agitated towards officers as well as the victim. Due to the threats made to the victim and fear of further violence, Korpus was arrested for Terroristic Threats of a Family Member or Household. He was taken into custody and booked without incident. An Emergency Protective Order was requested by the victim.
