On Oct. 10, the Paris Police Department began receiving complaints at 12:58 p.m. from citizens regarding an individual near the intersection of Lamar Avenue and N. Main Street who was reportedly shouting and creating an unreasonable noise nuisance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the subject, later identified as Winston Noles (39) of Wylie, Texas. Noles was arrested and ultimately charged with Disorderly Conduct per Texas Penal Code Section 42.01(a)5. After being arraigned, Noles was released from custody
On Oct. 1, Officers responded to a Burglary of a Business in the 100 block of NW 3rd. The victim advised that a possibly known person had kicked in a door to the business and had stolen numerous tools and other equipment including air compressors, clippers, lights, etc. Officers collected evidence at the scene and the incident is under investigation.
Officers made 9 traffic stops, 1 adult arrest, and answered 75 calls for service during this reporting period.
