Linda Jean Houston Wilkins, 74 of Paris, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Funeral services have been set for Monday, December 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. DJ Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 Pm at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
She was born in Brookston, Texas on February 17, 1950 to Arthur Dee and Betty Jean Houston. She was a member of Lakeway Baptist Church. She was active in and was a Girl Scout Brownie Troop Leader for her daughter’s troop. She was a Blue Blazes Band Parent from 1990-1997.
Linda is survived by her children. Angela Renea Yackeschi of Paris, Texas, Kimberly Annette Wilkins and Donna Clark of Marshall, Texas, Rex Levon Wilkins and Lauren Samuel of Paris, Texas; grandchildren, Tabatha and Thomas Kyle, Cheyenne Yackeschi and Jessie Seat, Hannah and Juan Martinez Moreno, Alessa Yackeschi and Davion Cooper, Haydin Wilkins and J Bo Rose, Stevie Wilkins, Riley Wilkins, Coy Wilkins, Ethan Wilkins,; great-grandchildren, Kailynn and Karder, Izabella Young, River Yackeschi, Adelynn Cooper, Aubrey Rose, Kadee Wilkins-Clark, Kenzee Wilkins-Clark; brother, Billy Houston and late wife, Vicky of Sulphur Springs, Texas, their children, Christy and Gary Houston; sister, Rhonda Kuykendall and late husband Arthur, their children, Cody, Tan and Grace Kendall; aunts and uncles, Bill and Glenda Watson, Patsy Rodgers and family, Bobby and Marie Whitley and family, Donnie Watson and family.
Serving as Pallbearers are Rex Wilkins, Coy Wilkins, Ethan Wilkins, Riley Wilkins, Juan Martinez, Davion Cooper, Thomas Kyle, and Tyrone Block.
