On Nov. 4, Officers met with Billy Paul Daniels (64) in the lobby of the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office after Daniels had arrived there asking to speak with someone about a robbery. Detectives of the Paris Police Department spoke with Daniels, who admitted to having committed the robbery in the 700 block of Graham on the previous evening. Daniels had been named as a suspect in the robbery and after his admission, was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Robbery. Booking was uneventful.
On Nov. 4, a burglary of a residence was reported in the 1400 block of W. Houston. The victim stated that suspects had entered his residence and stolen a large amount of cash. The victim named some possible suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
Officers made 5 traffic stops, 3 adult arrest, and answered 103 calls for service for this reporting period.
