On Nov. 28 at 2:45 a.m., an officer noticed a vehicle on the Paris Police Department lawn near the Taril de Paris which appeared to have been in an accident. The officer made contact with the driver, Joel Bowers, who appeared to be disoriented and was only partially dressed. After Bowers was confirmed to not be in need of medical attention, it was determined that he was intoxicated. A partially consumed bottle of an alcoholic beverage was located in the vehicle. Bowers was placed under arrest for DWI. It was subsequently determined that Bowers had a previous conviction for DWI so the charge was enhanced to DWI 2nd .
On Nov. 27 at 11:34 a.m., officers were notified of a theft which had occurrd at a retailer in the 3800 block of Lamar Ave. A vehicle description was given and the vehicle was stopped in the 3000 block of Lamar. The two suspects, Jazztavion Alexander D Fuller, and Lovie Laishon Williams, were contacted and found to be in possession of over 200.00 dollars worth of stolen merchandise. Both were arrested and charged with Theft over 100.00 but less than 750.00, Both were placed in jail. Fuller was found to have prior thefts.
On Nov. 24 at 11:39 p.m., officer was dispatched to the 3200 block of Clarksville St about a security check. They made contact with Jorge Villarreal who was in possession of prescription drugs that he had no prescription for. He was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and placed in jail without incident.
On Nov. 27 at 10:36 p.m., an individual left his vehicle unlocked and the keys inside it at a business in the 2500 block of N. Main while he stepped inside the business. Suspects entered the vehicle and stole his keys, then, left in another vehicle.
