On May 30, Officers responded to an assault at the Booker T Washington Apartments. The located the suspect, Brian Keith Alexander (53) on the property in an area with a large amount of blood, but could not locate a victim. It was later learned that Alexander had cut the victim, who had left the scene to seek medical assistance, with a box cutter. Alexander was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon as well as with Public Intoxication. The victim is in stable condition.
On May 29, an officer worked multiple Burglaries of Motor vehicles in the 100 to 200 block of NW 33rd. All vehicles had been left unlocked and different property was stolen from each vehicle including wallets, cash, and identifying information.
Officers made 25 traffic stops, 4 adult arrest, and answered 103 calls for service for this reporting period.
