On May 12, 2025 at approximately 10:43pm a Paris Police Officer stopped a Ford SUV in 3800 block of Lamar Avenue for speeding. Upon contacting the driver, Ulysses Gaytan, he was found to be in possession of a vape pen containing THC. Gaytan was subsequently placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a state jail felony.
Paris Police made a total of four (4) arrests and responded to seventy-three (73) calls for service
