On Mar. 17, Officers were notified of a Burglary of a Vehicle occurring in the 1000 block of Clarksville St. The victim advised that the vehicle was left on location at 20:00 on March 16, 2026 and when he returned to the vehicle at 16:00 on the 17th he noticed that a window had been broken out and a bag containing tools as well as a handgun had been taken. A witness on scene advised that the incident had not occurred as of 0800 on the 17th. Evidence was collected and the firearm will be entered in data base as stolen. The case is under investigation by the NE Texas Auto Theft Task Force.
