On Mar. 11, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of Tudor St. for an equipment violation. They made contact with the driver, Pierre Malin Jeffery (39). Jeffery was found to have two warrants. One from the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office and one from Lamar County Sheriff’s Office. Both were for charges of Theft under $2500.00 with two prior convictions. Jeffery was placed into custody at that time. Jeffery then proceeded to urinate in the public street in open view of citizens who were in their yards nearby. Officers observed open containers of alcoholic beverages in the vehicle and so completed an inventory and search of the vehicle. In the glovebox, they found marijuana. The charges of Disorderly Conduct (Public Urination) and Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces were added to the two felony warrants. Jeffery was placed in jail.
On Mar. 11, David Lee Roth (42) was stopped for a vehicle equipment violation in the 400 block of NW 3rd St. A consensual search of his person revealed him to be in possession of illegal narcotics. Roth admitted the drugs were his and was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. It was also found that Roth had numerous outstanding municipal warrants. He was charged with these as well.
Officers made 34 traffic stops, 3 adult arrest, and answered 114 calls for service for this reporting period.
