The second and final lunar eclipse of 2022 will be peak on Election Day, Nov. 8.
November’s Beaver Moon will peak in the early hours of Election Day morning at 5:02 a.m. CST.
The western half of North America will have the chance to witness the upcoming lunar eclipse, where the moon will appear almost directly overhead during mid-eclipse.
While this will be the second and final lunar eclipse of the years, the next total lunar eclipse will not happen until March 14, 2025.
The next Full Moon, the Cold Moon, will hit its peak at 11:08 p.m. on Dec. 7.
