Tuesday, June 4 at 4:28pm; a Paris Officer and a Detective with the Auto Theft Task Force began an on-going investigation of a Burg of a Motor Vehicle where a Taurus G2C semi-auto pistol was stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of SE 33rd Street.
Tuesday, June 4 at 7:44pm; a female victim in the 1700 block of North Main Street stated that a known female and a known male had pulled up in a vehicle; the female exited the vehicle, hit the victim in the head and face with a closed fist, re-entered the vehicle and left the scene. Officer observed redness on the victim’s left ear and a “goose egg” knot on her head. The victim had the known male’s location on her phone and provided it to the officer. At that location, the male stated that the female-suspect had dropped him off and then immediately left the residence. As the officer continued speaking with the male; Paris Dispatch notified him of a 9-1-1 call from the same victim stating that the same suspect had just driven by her residence, pointed a firearm directly at her and stated “you are dead …..”. A Felony Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon will be further investigated.
