On June 24, Officers responded to an Aggravated Assault w/ Deadly Weapon call in the 400 blk of NW 9th St. The victim told officers that they were struck with a blunt object by a known suspect. The suspect left the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The investigation is continuing.
On June 24, Officers investigated a Theft of Property from a business in the 3900 blk of Lamar Ave. The known suspects who left prior to officers’ arrival have two or more previous convictions for theft which will enhance this offense to a Felony. The incident is under investigation.
On June 24, Officers responded to an Assault Family Violence call that occurred in the 1100 blk of NE 6th. The victim told officers that they were assault by a household member and that during the assault, their breathing was impaired by the suspect. The incident is under investigation.
