On June 15, Officers observed a male subject riding a bicycle in the 2200 block of Maple Avenue. Upon noticing law enforcement, the subject discarded a light-colored plastic baggie and attempted to leave the area on the bicycle. Officers recovered the baggie and determined it contained methamphetamine. Officers subsequently located and detained the subject. Following an investigation, the subject was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1/1-B, Less Than One Gram, a State Jail Felony, and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair, a Third-Degree Felony.
On June 16, Officers responded to the 1800 block of West Washington Street regarding a reported burglary of a habitation. The complainant advised that a known possible suspect entered the residence and removed multiple items without consent. The investigation remains ongoing.
During this reporting period, officers conducted 31 traffic stops, made 2 adult arrests, and responded to 54 calls for service.
