On Apr. 16, Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the 1999 block of S. Church St. It was determined that the crash involved only one vehicle. The 43 year old male driver of the vehicle was identified and claimed not to know how the incident occurred. He was transported to Paris Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Prescription narcotics were located within the vehicle during inventory. The investigation is ongoing to determine if criminal charges will be filed for Illegal possession of a narcotics.
