On July 7, Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Lamar Avenue regarding a theft report. During the investigation, officers went to an apartment associated with a potential suspect. Upon making contact with a male subject at the residence, the subject consented to a search of his person. During the search, officers located methamphetamine. The subject was subsequently arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1/1-B, Less Than 1 Gram, a State Jail Felony.
On July 7, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to continuously signal for at least 100 feet prior to turning in the 500 block of NE 2nd Street. Officers made contact with the male driver, who consented to a search of the vehicle. During the search, officers located two small baggies containing methamphetamine. The driver was subsequently arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1/1-B, 1 Gram or More but Less Than 4 Grams, a Third-Degree Felony.
