On July 3, an off duty officer was made aware of thefts which had occurred at 210 Stone Avenue. An employee was suspected of taking items belonging to the apartment complex. Through investigations, it was discovered that the employee had taken several yard tools, blower, hedge trimmer, etc.) and sold them at local businesses. The employee had also taken a window unit air conditioner and was using it at his residence. The employee was confronted by the management and confessed to the thefts. Employee was terminated and charges will be sought in the incident.
Officers made 15 traffic stops, 1 adult arrest, and answered 107 calls for service for this reporting period.
