On Jan. 21, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of W. Kaufman St. for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Tammy Magnuson Enlow (52) gave consent for a search of the vehicle. Inside the vehicle officers located methamphetamine as well as narcotics paraphernalia for the use of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana. Further search of the vehicle and Enlow’s possessions located medication that is available by prescription only. Enlow admitted that she did not have a current prescription for the drug. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance X 2 and booked without incident.
On Jan. 21, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 10 block of NE 8th Street and made contact with the driver, Cassidy Lynn Lahman (41). Due to suspicious behavior by Lahman, officers elected to investigate the situation further. Other passengers in the vehicle were Phillip Aaron Pullins (49) and Starla Larie Queen (42). Lahman gave officers a fictitious name, claiming to be Brittney Mathis and was detained for Failure to Identify as a Fugitive from Justice. It was found that she had outstanding warrants from the Paris Municipal Court as well as from Lamar County Sheriff’s Office. Officers observed a pickaxe in the vehicle and for officer safety ordered all passengers to disembark. Both Pullins and Queen, Queen having outstanding municipal warrants, refused to exit the vehicle and had to be physically removed from the vehicle and forcibly handcuffed. Both were arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest or Detention. Officers located a large amount of methamphetamine as well as a sizeable amount of what tested to be Fentanyl in the immediate area of all three subjects. All were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Fentanyl as well as the misdemeanor warrants and on view misdemeanors as well.
Officers made 17 traffic stops, 4 adult arrest, and answered 56 calls for service for this reporting period.
