On Feb. 27, an officer on a traffic stop in the 900 block of Lamar Avenue was contacted by two subjects walking by who were shouting at the officer. As the officer was completing contact with the driver of the vehicle, another officer was summoned to check on the two subjects and respond to their needs. One of the subjects was identified as Davion Markeus Brown (18), who had an outstanding warrant for Burglary of a Building on a Motion to Revoke Probation. Brown was taken into custody without incident and the other individual was allowed to go on his way. Browns warrant is linked to a Burglary of a Business committed in August 2023.
On Feb. 27, Officers responded to a civil matter in the 300 block of SW 31st. There they came into contact with Patricia Ann Jones (62). It was discovered that Jones had an outstanding warrant for Theft of Property under $2500.00 with 2 or more previous convictions, a Felony. Jones was arrested on the warrant without incident. This arrest is the result of a September 2024 incident in which Jones was detained for a theft occurring in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue.
Officers made 13 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 124 calls for service for this reporting period.
