A pursuit reaching speeds of 130 mph, that originated in Van Zandt County, came to an end in Delta County on Thursday afternoon after the subject crashed on FM 154 at FM 1529 in Cooper.
Law enforcement said the pursuit began in Van Zandt County, however deputies lost contact with the subject.
The Rains County Sheriff’s Office then located the subject and resumed the pursuit, entering into Delta County, in which Delta County deputies then joined.
The vehicle continued traveling westbound on Highway 154 at high speeds, and the pursuit ended when the subject crashed on FM 154 at FM 1529.
The Delta County Sheriffs Office, along with the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and local first responders, assisted with the extrication of the subject.
The subject was transported by Air Evac flight to a neighboring hospital with unknown injuries.
