On Feb. 13, Officers responded to a security check in the 200 block of SE 23rd. They were advised that a male subject had left the scene prior to their arrival. Officers located Joshua Cherry Jones (41) in the immediate area. Jones was found to have an active Parole Violation warrant. He was taken into custody and processed without incident.
On Feb. 13, Officers responded to the 900 block of N. Main and made contact with a female victim who reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her by choking her, carrying her by her throat and throwing her down. The assault had taken place in the 400 block of W. Campbell St. Officers observed evidence of the assault and collected evidence. The suspect could not be located at that time.
On Feb. 14, Jeremy Landon Faulk (27) was arrested in the 1200 block of Lamar Avenue after officers observed him in the area. Faulk was known to have outstanding warrants for Assault of a Family Member with Previous Convictions, Habitual Offender X2. The arrest stemmed from an April of 2025 incident occurring in the 1300 block of W. Houston in which Faulk allegedly assaulted an immediate family member. Faulk was processed without incident and taken to county jail.
On Feb. 15, An officer stopped a vehicle for defective equipment in the 700 block of Chism St. Upon making contact with the driver and passenger, a consensual search of the vehicle was made. The occupants were removed from the vehicle and during a subsequent pat down of the two cocaine was located in the possession of the passenger, Darlene Janette Mason (64). Mason was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was booked and then transferred to county jail.
On Feb. 15, Officers arrested Deonte Deo’Jon Penny (35) in the 1300 block of Clarksville St. after recognizing him as being wanted on active warrants. Penney was charged with warrants for Criminal Trespass and Theft with Prior Convictions, both misdemeanor charges. During a post arrest search Penny was found to be in possession of narcotics, which were located in his pocket. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and booked on all charges without incident.
On Feb. 15, Officers observed a vehicle driver to throw an object from his vehicle into the street in the 3000 block of Bonham St. They stopped the offending driver in the 10 block of NW 29th and made contact with Immanuel Shemar Young (26). Young denied throwing anything out but later stated he had thrown out a cigarette butt. Young was checked and found to be wanted on a misdemeanor municipal warrant. He was arrested on the warrant and then admitted to having a small amount of marijuana on his person. The marijuana was recovered. Meanwhile another officer had collected the item that Young had jettisoned from his vehicle on Bonham St and determined it to be approximately 20 grams of marijuana. Young was subsequently charged with Possession of Marijuana and Tampering or Fabricating Evidence, a Felony. Young was booked and placed in jail.
On Feb. 16, Officers checking a vehicle behind a business in the 1600 block of NW Loop 286 made contact with Hettie Marie Walters (37). Walters was found to have an outstanding warrant for Theft of Property under 2500.00 With two or More Previous Convictions and was arrested on the charge. This warrant is the result of a September 2025 incident in which Walters found a lost wallet in the 2700 block of Lamar Avenue and intentionally did not return it to the owner, having stolen over 1000.00 in cash from the victim. Walters was booked without incident.
Officers made 15 traffic stops, 13 adult arrest, and answered 101 calls for service during this reporting period.
