Paris Police arrested Rebecca Marie Daniels, 48, of Paris, at 8:30 A.M. on February 15, 2023 in the 1300 block of N Collegiate Dr. Daniels was found to have an outstanding felony probation violation warrant. She is currently on probation for a possession of a controlled substance conviction. Daniels was booked and later placed in the Lamar County Jail.
Detectives of the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant on a residence in the 300 block of Grove St searching for 50 year old Jerry Wayne Porter who was known to have an outstanding parole violation warrant. Detectives located Porter in a back bedroom and placed him under arrest. Detectives observed baggies of cocaine laying on the bed and a secondary search warrant led to the discovery of cocaine, methamphetamine scales, and paraphernalia that would be used in the manufacture or delivery of the illicit drugs. Porter was additionally charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
