Betty Jo Martin, 92, of Paris, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, at Heritage House of Paris.
Services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3rd at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with burial following in Knights of Honor Cemetery at Blossom. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Martin, the daughter of Marvin Ezra Wilmoth & Aline Qualls Wilmoth, was born June 5, 1934, in Idabel, OK.
She was a homemaker and dedicated her adult life to her family and home. Betty volunteered at the Blossom Library and at the elementary school in Blossom. She was an avid OU football fan and enjoyed bowling. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Thomas Martin, whom she married on June 6, 1953, building 41 years of family and memories before his death on Nov. 10, 1994. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, William Wilmoth and Robert Wilmoth, a sister, Martha House, and a grandson, Aidan Martin.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Martin, a son, Michael Martin & wife Johnene, two grandchildren, Carrie and Christopher, and three great grandchildren, Xavier, Joey, and Charlie along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
The family would like to extend appreciation to Platinum Hospice, Rachel, Juanita, and Dr. Bercher for the care given to their loved one.
