Tues. Dec. 3; Officers arrested Devin Demontre Neal (29) on an outstanding Parole Warrant after contacting him on an unrelated call in the 600 block of SW 7th . Neal was taken into custody without incident.
Tues. Dec. 3; Officers were notified of a moving vehicular disturbance starting on East Cherry St and possibly heading towards the police department. The victim said she was being chased by a boyfriend, identified as Domienek Antwar Reed (34). During the incident Reed had intentionally struck the victim’s vehicle with the one he was driving as well as having torn off the door handle, broken the driver’s side window, and then assaulted the victim with his fist. Reed, who had left the scene of the incident, was located in the 800 block of NE 7 th . He was arrested on several outstanding warrants including a Harassment from January 2024 and a Terroristic Threat and Criminal Trespassing offense from February 2024. These warrants were the result of crimes committed against a different victim, an outstanding Parole Violation Warrant, and municipal traffic warrants. Reed was also charged for the crimes committed in this incident including two counts of Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, one against a family member. Reed was processed without incident.
Tues. Dec. 3; Officers arrested Jaymie Leighman Seat (29) after responding to a disturbance in the 600 block of SW 7th . A family member reported that he had been struck in the head and hand by Seat with a glass lamp globe. The assault had resulted in cuts to the victim’s face and hand. The victim produced phone video of the assault. Seat was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She was processed without difficulty.
Tues. Dec. 3; Officers received a report of a Burglary of a Residence in the 1300 block of East Sherman St. The victims stated that known suspects had entered the residence and taken several items, which they had transported to 750 Bonham St. The officers met with the victims and suspects at the Bonham St. address. The suspects advised that they had taken items from outside the victim’s residence but had believed it to be trash. The property was returned to the victims and an investigation will continue.
Officers made 24 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 86 calls for service for this reporting period.
