On Aug. 21, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Durango in regards to an assist other agency. The made contact with Rhonda Nadyne Thacker (54). Thacker claimed to have used narcotics and was obviously under the influence of some substance. Thacker admitted to having possession of other narcotics. Officers recovered what tested positive as methamphetamine in Thacker’s property. Thacker was transported to a local medical facility but then refused treatment and attempted to walk away. She was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Thacker was booked and later transported to Lamar County Jail.
Officers made 12 traffic stops, 3 adult arrest, and answered 116 calls for service during this reporting period.
