On Apr. 10, Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of NE 12th. St in regards to a theft. The victim reported that some unknown subject had stolen the outside HVAC unit from a residence. The victim advised that the unit had been serviced on April 7, 2026 and was working at that time but when he went to check on the house on the report date, he found that the entire outer unit had been stolen. Officers collected evidence at the scene and the investigation is ongoing. The value of the unit was approximately $3,600.00.
On Apr. 11. Officers responded to the 2600 block of N. Main in response to a theft. Officers were notified that a known suspect had stolen alcoholic beverages from the store by concealing them in her pockets and not paying for them. The store personnel recognized the suspect. Officers confirmed the suspect identification via prior arrest photos but could not locate the suspect at the time of the incident. Records indicate that the suspect has multiple prior convictions for theft making this incident a felony theft. The investigation will continue and it is probable that warrants will be forthcoming.
Officers made 94 traffic stops, 4 adult arrest, and answered 277 calls for service during this reporting period.
