Officers of the NE Texas Auto Theft Task Force recovered a stolen 2003 Dodge pickup that had been stolen in Louisiana. The stolen vehicle was located during a vehicle inspection for issueance of title. The vehicle was taken into evidence.
An afternoon traffic stop in the 500 block of Tudor St resulted in the arrest of Ladarrius Gordon. Gordon was stopped for failure to wear seat belt. The officer detected the smell of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Gordon admitted to having a large quantity of marijuana as well as paraphernalia indicating intent to sell the product. Gordon was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana over 4 ounces but under 5 pounds. The drugs and paraphernalia as well as a substantial amount of cash and the vehicle were also taken into evidence.
Neomiaha Lewis Scales “Neo” was arrested on a Warrant for Sexual Assault of a Child. The warrant stemmed from an incident which took place in August of 2022. He was booked and transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Officers made 20 traffic stops 7 arrest and answered 131 calls for service on April 13, 2023
