The Paris Optimist Club recently held it’s annual recognition dinner on Sept. 29 at the Fish Fry.
“We celebrated another excellent year because of the great people that volunteer their time to make the Club successful,” said the club.
During the event, last year’s Optimist of the Year, Clint Gage (left), and POC president, Angela Rember (right), presented this year’s Optimist of the Year award to Chad Farris (center).
“Farris is an officer on the board, a member of the baseball committee, a coach, and chair of the grounds crew for the DYB regional state tournaments the Club hosted this summer.”
