Twenty-five Paris Junior High Wildcat Choir members recently competed at the Junior High All-Region Choir auditions in Sulphur Springs. Fourteen students earned spots in the prestigious All-Region Choir, with two named as alternates — an outstanding achievement reflecting weeks of dedication and practice.
PJH Choir Director Christine Bennett expressed her pride, saying, “I am extremely proud of these students for their initiative and dedication toward excellence. It takes a village to make this possible.”
Students Earning Top Honors
The following PJH students earned high rankings:
· Will Foreman: 2nd chair, tenor
· Eriife Akintunde: 8th chair, soprano
· Ja’Kobian Burns: 9th chair, tenor
· Hayden Moree: 10th chair, tenor
Students who advanced will participate in an all-day clinic and perform in a public concert showcasing their talents alongside other top young musicians from the region.
