Paris Independent School District students recently competed in campus spelling bees and eight students will represent the District in the annual Lamar County Spelling Bee in the Weger Auditorium at Paris Junior High School on Feb. 5 at 4 p.m.
Campus winners are Justiss fourth graders Nicuria Brooks and Emma Vincent; Aikin fourth graders Baylee Zachry and Caroline Gillem; sixth graders Nicole Octavio and Virginia Acosta with sponsor Jill Nutt from Crockett; and seventh graders Luke de la Garza and Ryan Clausius from Paris Junior High.
