Paris ISD is recently recognized Yesica Munguia, who is part of the Federal Programs Department where she supports Emergent Bilingual students, their families and teachers who guide them, as this months Shining Star.
Karol Ackley, State and Federal Programs Director said, “Ms. Munguia is an essential member of our district and the Federal Programs Department. She serves our Emergent Bilingual students, their teachers, and families with unwavering dedication and compassion. Respected by her peers and throughout our community, Ms. Munguia consistently brings a positive attitude to every task and willingly steps in whenever needed—often on short notice. She ensures that our teachers receive the resources and professional development opportunities they need to strengthen instructional practices and better support their students. Her passion for education extends beyond the district, as she serves on multiple boards advocating for students and our community. A true Wildcat at heart, it is an honor to work alongside her each day.”
