Both cross country teams from Paris High School won big in their recent cross country meet as at North Lamar on Thursday. The boys and girls teams won first place overall with several runners on each team finishing inside the top 10.
Individual times for each runner were not available. On the boy’s side, Adam Hartman earned first place overall, while Pablo Melguizo (third) and Noah Allen (fifth) rounded out the top five finishers for Paris. Kelton Varner earned seventh place for the Wildcats, while Lisandro Hernandez (eighth) and Bryce Hollje (10th) were the remaining boy’s runners finishing in one of the top 10 spots.
On the girl’s side, Paris saw two girls earn high marks individually as both finished inside the top five. Shamiya Holt took home third place and Diana Farfan claimed fourth place overall. For more sports information, click here.
