Paris High School Robotics hosts LEGO’s Robot Academy

LEGO’s Robot Academy, host by Paris High School Robotics, will explore the boundless world of robotics and engineering from July 29th through August 2nd. 

“This exploratory experience, LECO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Bse Set and software, encourages teamwork, friendship, and creativity from day one,” said Jodi Andoe, Engineering, and Robotics. 

Classmates work in small groups to complete projects and compete in a tournament.

“Campers complete projects using EV3 LEGO’s software  and compete in a robot soccer tournament,” added Andoe, “The camp focuses on the engineering design process, building, and computer programming.”

LEGO’s Robot Academy is open to all students in 4th through 6th grade. 

The academy, which costs $100 with fees due July 20th, goes from 8:30 a.m. till 12 p.m. Monday to Friday at Paris High School located at 2255 South Collegiate Drive

Sponsors provide scholarships for some students based on financial need.
