For the third consecutive year, the dedicated members of the Paris High School FFA and Floral Design classes brought joy and warmth to the residents of local nursing homes by delivering beautiful roses for Valentine’s Day. This thoughtful initiative has become a cherished tradition, highlighting the commitment of the students to community service and spreading kindness.
The students visited several area facilities, including Pine Tree Ranch, Colonial Lodge Retirement, Spring Lake, The Home Place, and Heritage House. At each location, they delivered a single rose to every resident, accompanied by a sweet Valentine’s Day card. These small gestures of love and care were met with smiles and heartfelt gratitude from the recipients.
The annual Valentine’s Day rose delivery is more than just a school project; it’s a heartfelt mission to connect with and bring joy to the elderly members of the community. The students’ efforts not only brighten the day of those in the nursing homes but also teach them the importance of empathy, generosity, and community involvement.
