Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel….
Mark 15:15-16
The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest
to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:12
TO: THE LAMAR COUNTY COMMUNITY IN CHRIST
On October 19th, people from many churches are coming together to demonstrate the power of unity in our Community in Christ. While many groups are getting ready to celebrate Halloween, we want to celebrate the hope offered through Jesus Christ. We encourage you to get involved with us!
With 4 large bounce houses and about 30 fun Activity Stations spread out along the walking trail throughout Oak Park, there will be lots to engage children and their families. A motorized Kids Train will provide rides around the Park. We will also have folks on hand to share Bibles and tell of God’s love. Hot dogs, chips, drinks and snow cones will be offered, and the best part….it’s all FREE! Yes, it’s already paid for!
We aren’t asking for your money. We are asking for a little of your time, directed towards serving others. Whether helping to prepare hot dogs, monitoring a bounce house, or just keeping an eye on things, we need your support. And, you don’t even have to leave town!
Our heart’s desire is to introduce many folks to people from different churches around town. Maybe just a few of those will be so impressed with the genuineness of people they meet; they will want to check out your church on Sunday! Come. Invest a little of your time. Watch what the Lord will do!
