Opal Faye Lester was born February 23, 1951 in Paris, Texas to parents, Lucian Davis and Imogene McFatridge Davis. She was a member of Leslie Chapel Pentecostal Church. Opal married Ronnie Lester in 1981 and again in 2002. She loved to decorate her house and the houses of others and loved to work outside in her flower beds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Doris Ann and Tammy Jean and sisters, Geraldine Barnett, Margaret Beshirs, Jane Eubanks, brothers, John Wayne Davis and Jessie Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Lester; children, William Lee and wife, Lenore, Roy Lee and partner, Crystal, Troy Lee, Jenna Mae, Diann Faye and Rhonda Kay, sister, Kay Willingham; brothers, Troy, Roy and Billy Davis, and 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation with friends and family will be held at Leslie Chapel Pentecostal Church at noon on Thursday, November 14th. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial to be after the service at Georgia Cemetery.
Minister David Dunigan and Brother Ray Woods will officiate.
