North Lamar ISD recently held a successful Career Fair on April 28 for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The event featured over 25 different local businesses that set up booths to engage with students and discuss career choices and pathways.
The Career Fair provided an excellent opportunity for students to learn about potential career paths and gain valuable insights from professionals in their community. Students were able to interact with representatives from a variety of industries and ask questions about their work, education and training requirements, and what a typical day on the job might look like.
The event also provided students with the opportunity to make valuable connections with local businesses and potentially secure internships or job shadowing opportunities. These experiences can be instrumental in helping students gain real-world experience and make informed decisions about their future career paths.
North Lamar ISD is committed to providing its students with the tools and resources necessary to explore their interests and achieve their goals. Hosting a Career Fair is just one of the many ways the district supports its students in their educational and professional journeys.
