North Lamar ISD recently recognized two outstanding staff members through its Heart of a Panther program, which celebrates employees who go above and beyond for students, staff, and the school community. The recognition highlights individuals whose dedication, teamwork, and commitment truly represent the spirit of North Lamar.
The district extends a special thank you to program sponsors Pierson and Fendley Insurance, represented by Russell Jackson, and Farmers Bank & Trust, represented by Erik Roddy. Their partnership helps recognize the staff members who make a meaningful impact across the district.
This month’s Heart of a Panther recipients are Josh Jordan and Mason Bicondova, both nominated by their colleagues for their exceptional contributions.
Josh Jordan was recognized for his willingness to step in wherever he is needed. According to the colleague who nominated him, “Josh Jordan is someone our campus can always count on. He steps in wherever he’s needed—covering classes, supporting teachers across departments, and helping keep things running smoothly. His willingness to go above and beyond makes a real difference for our staff and students every day.”
Mason Bicondova was honored for his leadership and vision in expanding STEM opportunities for students. His nominator shared, “Mason Bicondova is developing curriculum, supporting fellow STEM teachers, and working hard to grow our STEM program for students in grades 2–8. He is also collaborating with the high school CTE program to ensure that as the program expands, students benefit from a strong, connected pathway from grades 2 through 12.”
North Lamar ISD is proud to recognize staff members whose dedication and passion exemplify the true Heart of a Panther. Their commitment to supporting students and colleagues continues to strengthen the district and its mission of helping every student learn, grow, and belong.
